Planning a purchase?
Start with the offer details, then decide whether the timing and costs work for you.
Which purchases qualify?
Read the offer’s terms to see which transactions receive the introductory rate.
When does the introductory period end?
Check the duration and the rate that applies afterward. Plan around the actual terms, not just the headline.
What other costs should I check?
Review annual fees, late-payment terms, and other charges before applying.
An introductory offer is not a guarantee of approval. Read the provider’s current terms before making a decision.
Read the intro APR guide →Considering a balance transfer?
Check the transfer fee and promotional terms together. The lowest headline rate is not the whole cost.
What is the transfer fee?
A transfer fee may apply even when the promotional interest rate is zero. Include it when comparing options.
What is the deadline?
Review the time allowed for eligible transfers and the length of the promotional period.
What happens to new purchases?
Do not assume a balance-transfer promotion also covers purchases. Carrying a transferred balance can affect interest on new purchases; review the separate terms before spending.
